Trentham Tower originally formed the top of the tower at Trentham Hall, which was designed by Sir Charles Barry C.1840. Trentham Hall was demolished in 1910 -1911 and the tower top was dismantled and reconstructed at Sandon around 1912. The tower was fully restored in 2016/17 to its present condition and is a listed Grade II building. It sits rather isolated in many acres of the Sandon Upper Park and is well worth a visit. Access to the Folly is from the A51 down School Lane (opposite the Dog and Doublet pub) and follow the signs to Church Lane and the All Saints Church. From the Church gate follow the road East a short distance until you see a cattle grid entrance to a Lane between farm buildings. Follow the lane until you see 5bar gate and a field path opposite a rather beautiful farm house. Take the path and as you pass a large copse on your left you will see at close to the highest point of Sandon Park this marvellous tower folly. The many times I've passed this folly on walks I've never seen a soul so a great place to fly.
Land owner permission requirements unknown.

At time of flight (early morning) no activity at marina so no permission needed. If you wanted to fly during busy times then I believe asking Harbour Master would be appropriate . Plenty of parking on nearby roads, coffee shops and pub on site, nice pastries from 1 shop. Coastal scenery just along shoreline within 200 yards . Lifeboat station also here.
Land owner permission not required.

The Green Bridge is a wooden footbridge across the River Avon within Chatelherault Country Park between Hamilton and Larkhall in South Lanarkshire. It is part of a walking route though the park but can also be accessed via a single track road from the B7078 near Larkhall. The single track road ends at a gate at another bridge 260m up river from the Green Bridge where there are room for a few cars. There are also some good TOAL's near this bridge.

I was planning to fly 2 years ago but because of the pandemic and finally also the tower in scaffolding it never happened till last week. No hassles with local visitors, great (too) sunny day. Shoreham is nice during the weekdays, weekends can be a bit busy. Has a few nice pubs and the aircraft museum is a must (also nice sandwiches), http://www.shoreham-aircraft-museum.co.uk/
