Our flying association, Grey Arrows Drone Club, provides our Insured Members with £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance (PLI) of cover.

Whether you are an experienced pilot or just starting your aerial journey, our comprehensive insurance coverage ensures that you can focus on what you love the most - flying!

Details and benefits of our drone insurance

Limit of Cover:

  • £5,000,000 in any one claim for Public Liability
  • Provided that the named person flying holds a valid CAA Flyer ID
  • Provided that the named person flying is aged 18 or over
  • Provided that the named person is flying within the CAA Drone and Model Aircraft Code regulations at the time of the flight
  • Provided that FPV flights are accompanied by a spotter

Excess:

  • £250

Limitations to Use:

  • Recreational use of drone and model aircraft flying anywhere in the UK
  • UK residents only

Excludes:

  • Business or commercial operations of any kind
  • Flying beyond Visual Line of Sight
  • Damage to property owned, leased, hired or loaned to the Insured
  • Criminal acts, airside activities, communicable disease, malicious damage

If you need to make a claim

  • Immediately contact info@greyarro.ws
  • Do not admit liability
  • Do not discuss or share details of your insurance claim with anyone, it could affect your claim
  • Grey Arrows Drone Club may need to report your incident to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) or to Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB)

If, for any reason, your Grey Arrows Drone Club account is terminated, this will simultaneously terminate your Public Liability Insurance cover.
