I have place dthe pin at the best place to park - which is severly limited and on sunny days with the tide out, you may find it full.
AAccess to the beach is via the footpath that crosses the train tarcks in / out of the steelworks, but from where you park just head straight across the tracks and keep walking. It will take approx 15 to 30minutes depending on speed but be aware the road is still used by vehicles on site. A bycycle will make teh trip quicker. Access can also be got by walking down the beach from Ogmore-by-Sea or Kenfig Nature reserve.
Not much to see, but the day I went it was empty except for me. There is an old ship wreck at the steelworks end of the beach if the tide is out and naything is left, otherwise good for industrial shots or just a "blat" along the beach.
