Nearby free parking available at the Nendrum Monastic site (a 4 minute walk away). Good views over Strangford Lough.

I parked on Ambleside Road. There is a small green space (ive dropped the pin on the green space) with public access for take of and landing. This is in the middle of a housing estate so sub 250g is a must if you're following the drone code.

Large open area for TOAL but can get very busy in the summer. Plenty of parking available nearby.

Pembroke Castle (By clinkadink)

I parked in front of the George Hotel, just by the Millpond Bridge. From there you can walk around the castle and millpond partially surrounding it. TOAL was from the South West side of the Millpond.

I parked in the car park below Manorbier Castle which normally costs, but the machines are currently out of order. You can access the beach and castle from the car park, on a couple of minutes walk away.

Parked on the North side of the millpond which is free, allowing great access to the only restored Tidal Mill in Wales, and the magnificent Carew Castle built in 1270AD.

Parked at Coppet Hall car park, £1.50 for 1 hour. Then walked through the foot tunnel following the coastal walk all the way to Wisemans Bridge. Great views and nice sandy beaches.

Groverake is just off the B6295 between Allenheads and Rookhope, there is an area to park and fly from off the road or you can walk down to the actual minehead

King Afreds Tower, Bruton (By McSteamy2010)

King Alfreds Tower

King Alfred's Tower is a folly in Somerset, England, on the edge of the border with Wiltshire, on the Stourhead estate. The tower stands on Kingsettle Hill and belongs to the National Trust. This is National Trust so TOAL is not permitted within the towers grounds but can be done from nearby.

Parking on site is free and exploring the wooded grounds is must.

Free parking is available. There are several trails, if you chose the Northern trail (by the old barn) then you will be able to access the lake, and onwards to Stanton Hotel too.
