Iford Playing Fields added to Everything Else in South East by AprilCoon on 30/07/2020

This is in a Class D air space as its not so far from Bournemouth Airport, about 4 miles as the crow flies. I guess the ground is owned by the council and I'm not sure if they allow it.

Keith's Tower, beside Park Bridge (By harmchar)

Parked on the road on the South side of Park Bridge. The bridge is closed just now for traffic. Small area to East of the tower is nice area but may belong to the adjacent quarry.

Bosworth Water Trust (By DeanoG60)

Parked on site for a small fee, the site is open all year round was February when I flew here so wasn't busy so didn't have any issues. Be cautious at busy times might be worth giving the trust a call on 01455 291876 if planning a flight at a busy time of year. Website: https://www.bosworthwatertrust.co.uk

Colliers Moss Common (By kvetner)

Parking options include Evergreen Way (WA9 4ZS) and Broad Lane (WA5 4DS). I parked in front of the gates at https://w3w.co/larger.ratio.declines. Even at the weekend, the area was not busy. I recommend a bicycle to get around it. As well as the parkland area, you can film the Burtonwood Brewery from here.

Woodcote Road Solar Farm, Sale (By kvetner)

I parked at the end of Woodhouse Lane (https://what3words.com/scam.quest.stale, postcode M33 4WR). From there, go around the gates that block the road heading west, and follow the footpaths to the north and then north-west. There is space at https://what3words.com/list.door.await to take-off without obstructing footpaths. Key hazards: dog walker and dogs, and there is an overhead power line very close by. The take-off location suggested is at least 150m clear of the nearby residential area.

Thornton Force Waterfall (By joneb)

Parking at the side of the road, or there is a small lay another 50 yards further down. If you fly to the east about 100 meters from the drop pin you can easily grab some photographs of the waterfall whilst maintaining line of sight.
