Another GADC member, McSteamy2010 has alredy tagged this site and suggested going to the cafe car park.I parked in a field. Other cars were close to the entrance but a wide track led further into the field allowing me to be 50metres from the road and other vehicles. From there you can launch and easily see the length of the flight of fifteen locks. From the main road, A361, take the minor road B3101 (Marsh Lane) toward Rowde. The road narrows as it goes over the canal, approximately 500 metres later there is a sign and right turn for Caen Hill Locks. The road has an annoying number of speed bumps. It is narrow but there are several passing places
Land owner permission requirements unknown.
